I do not like this product at all. His slow with a very small cache size. It took every configuration in my computer. The only thing I like is the amount of space on the disk. I would not recommend this CD for all computer users beginners. Rating: 5.1
This can be a great player, but it does not work properly in a DirecTV HD-DVR HR2X. It will be cold all kinds of questions. I had no problems connecting with the installation of this equipment in an Antec MX1 and no problem with the DVR. He admitted he made and seems to work. After the DVR was every minute or two I had problems with the DVR closed for 20-40 seconds permanence.Malheureusement, I discovered the series EADS works much better. I already have a 1TB WD Caviar drive as second drive in my system Vista 64 bit, which worked very well, and I wanted to update my main 750GB Hitachi drive with two TB Caviar. But the variable speed (the basic function of saving energy on this CD), it is much too slow to be a primary disk. Even the hard disk cloning several attempts maxed at about 65MBps transfer rate, with a system crash or two thrown in for good measure. So I went to the Hitachi 2TB and, if a little louder than the caviar, it works much, much better. Hard disk cloning and copying of the following files all ran a transfer rate of 100 Mbit / s stable or better. Believe me, if you have hundreds of GB of data, which allows an improvement of 30-50% in transmission rate to move a very big impression. In general, I like WD products – especially the low power consumption and quiet Caviar drives – but I just could not put up with the slowness. Rating 5.2
