I love Amish fiction and it was good but not exceptional. I was a little disappointed with the resolution at the end, but overall am happy. I was surprised by the fact that some verses were repeated several times, it seemed superfluous, as if to add the number of words. I think she was trying to emphasize the importance of these verses, but he was a more subtle, have done less repetitive. That means I’ll probably buy, to watch the second book, as their lives progress. Rating: 4 / 5
I really enjoyed reading this book. I will not go into detail about the scenario, as others have done reasonably. What I am saying is that the story is captivating. I put him down but not until I finished. I already downloaded 2 of the book series bakery. Rating: 5 / 5
The book is unrealistic. Having lost their parents about the same age, my sister and I would have been in a worse situation allows us to have to be separated. It is highly doubtful that a girl of 14 years, within two months of losing their parents, would want to be Amish and change his life, even more than it has been changed! The author does not resolve the conflict, but it has to ask the reader what kind of support that anyone who in their minds, intentionally sisters divided by the loss of parents? What girl of 14 years after it through such a trauma, without normality into something at the end of the century or earlier, especially after the loss of his parents. The book does not Sens. addition, it seems ridiculous that the character can get pregnant and see a scan and not “secular” use of technology, but others can not even use a computer or iPod. It does not look like Grace seems to have a meaning, or the concept of grace ring true, but the work makes the Amish (at least in this book). Rating: 3 / 5
