I could read only 3-4 Chaptes this book. There are two main problems with the book. (1) The ideas are not surprising, and (2) there is little research behind worthy views of the author. It leads often totally absurd to make a point, like a Bumpersticker in 2000 or “a person who writes in the newspaper in 1764. I’m sure you can prove anything if you are using” A person can not speak, said one days. “I expect a book about the history of the” people “have trully seen as” the people “and study of lived history in this country. See What You get, however, as the author of the modern Western left and far see the story down. Everything else. do not read the book as the work of a university, but rather as an ultra – left angry superficial glance at the world. The kind of writing in the free weekly newspapers such as “Found City Paper.” At least The editorials have humor! Rating: 2 / 5
I’ve heard nothing but terrible things about this book. History stories “about the evil U.S. universities. Méfiez Please note that this book is an opinion and not factual. Research on the history for themselves and research of the author and his political views. Rating: 1 / 5
I wish I had the reviews before wasting my money to read this piece of socialist garbage! In addition to almost all been unbelievably influenced the history of our country, it is boring to boot. Rating: 1 / 5
Matt Damon and leftie AIR HEADS OTHER THAN historian Howard Zinn, but in reality he was a socialist who has been able to read this book to be MANDATORY IN SOME COLLEGES ARE public schools and (WITH THE HELP OF worse for hippies educators). In their world, the U.S. imperialist aggressors and the cause of all evils in the world. WHAT Zinn book is really all about, and generally imposed when UNSUPECTING students or their parents must be censured. WHY SHOULD I leftism PROPROGANDA Unchallanged allowed to go? Rating: 1 / 5
I have had the misfortune to be compelled to read parts of this book in school, and I could not bear it. All this guy does nothing but complain about than the past. He seems to think that if we will all feel guilty for things that people have made a start, we never even hundreds of years ago to make the world a better place. Howard Zinn should focus on what was happening around him, not what happened in the past and not someone a rat’S ASS ABOUT. Rating: 1 / 5
