It has been a while since I had read the occasion, a historical novel by one of my favorite authors. A vote of confidence recently gave me this opportunity. Hatcher has written some great historical novels (the series Coming to America), but unfortunately I thought it was a bit fade.Il is no doubt that Hatcher was very likeable characters to create and evoke a great story. However, as much as I wanted to enjoy the story, I thought he really had no originality. In fact, it was sometimes hard to get through the book, because I know how it would turn the fin.À I think some of the best works Hatcher knew (other than the aforementioned amounts of historical series) contemporary novels dealing with real issues ( abortion, alcoholism, etc.). Most of his novels I read recently that only fluff, and not what I love the original of this great author. Rating: 5.3

The book: A no-confidence vote has interesting characters, but the entire story was not as deep as I wanted, it was perhaps too much to expect from this genre. Rating: 5.3

I did not know how this book. For all the rhetoric about the rights of women and to be independent, some moments in this book have been anything but. For example, the scene by storm with Morgan and Gwen. And the whole part where Gwen gets angry at Morgan because he wants to keep her safe. I do not understand how Gwen Morgan wanted to keep safe is humiliating for Gwen, or why they are still defensive. Would it have identified if Cleo had said that she was worried and did not want Gwen Gwen to do something? No, Gwen Huffy me because it was Morgan, a man, and in this book that convinced that anything that a man should their innate need to control and treat come strong, independent women drive. Please. I expected something more. Rating: 5.2

A vote of confidence by Robin Lee Hatcher is the first book in the Sisters of Bethlehem Springs series. In 1915, Gwen Arlington is a modern woman. She lives on her own, to earn their living by giving piano lessons, and she is running for mayor of Bethlehem Springs, Idaho. First, it looks like a shoo-in, but when a new man in town threw Morgan McKinley his hat into the ring as the election heats up. Morgan is building a spa on the outskirts of the city, but some of the locals do not support his plans if he is executed first, to help his company, but after he meets the beautiful Gwen, his spirit is far more than the mayor. Hatcher has a remarkable sense waiting for the dialogue of bullets, and the subplot to the story quickly. It has to create an excellent work, some other characters that in future volumes of the series. It is a sweet escape to romance perfect for the beach or simply read the real world for a while. When I like the blog by Robin Lee Hatcher offered advanced reader copies of his new novel read, I was a first-graders jumping in his chair and said “oooo ooo pick me pick me.” Fortunately, I was fast enough to be included in the group. I can not remember when I discovered books by Robin Lee Hatcher, but I enjoyed each of them. A vote of confidence is the first book in “The Sisters of Bethlehem Springs série.Voici this website Robin said about this book: Who said a woman can not man job? Put up or shut up! Complain Bethlehem Springs candidates for mayor dissolute , Gwen Arlington is encouraged, the role itself. For seven years, she has an independent life in the bustling town of Bethlehem, Mountain Springs, Idaho, piano lessons carved and writes for the local newspaper. But now she is a woman alone in the hall – and in 1915, this decision related to trouble.Morgan McKinley hinder tired of these delays, Sau, the construction of New Hope Health Spa, a place where rich and poor can come for relaxation and healing. New to the area, was found that the Office of the Mayor would help him, his agenda for each progrès.Gwen Morgan and want to prove that she the most qualified candidates, not only for voters, but another fly, and sparks, as the campaign of the two. Although Morgan has learned to keep his heart as hard as Gwen retain its independence, they could learn to be allies than enemies? The first book of the Sisters of Bethlehem Springs series provides a fascinating insight into the women who challenged convention and shaped America in the early twentieth siècle.J ‘ve enjoyed reading about Gwen breaking into the policy. There is a fiery big girl fat. Morgan is of course the dashing man, all she has worked threatens pour.Gwen itself teaches piano lessons to wait for his most recent read was a student, I like books because the characters are believable and Robin the story is always interesting. It also weaves faith and Scripture in the book, and it never comes all the “cheese” or moralisateur.Si you like historical novels You take a confidence vote and enjoy the last book of Robin.
