Check the cable in order, build, and seems to do well. My LCD monitor reports no signal when the cable through. All other DVI-HDMI sources work perfectly with the monitor (it accepts VGA, DVI and HDMI), so I can only blame the cable may be defective. Amazon is currently not available, so I am not able to test a replacement. Too bad the cable is exactly what I wanted. Rating: 2 / 5

I connect it to my Mac mini (DVI) to my HDTV (HDMI in) in connection. Works great! I would like to point out that the DVI does not transmit the sound output, so do not expect to have a magical sound goes into your TV, just because it is an HDMI connection.
