I had to return to this beautiful ASUS UL30A-X5 without trying its promising properties. Amazon profits smooth return of a star on this review. After the inspection, it lacked any type of optical drive, CD or DVD. It is this situation in a netbook expected, but not in a notebook. The irony is that a recovery disc was included! Certainly, this is my mistake was not to investigate further before you buy it, so I left a different planet. The technical specifications are not posted to the list do not prevent the type of optical drive, but also that they are completely omitted (together with netbooks). Connecting an external DVD or CD of this unit would be contrary to the appearance of portability entirely. But it is obvious that this machine has excellent else has, and promises battery life is very long, it deserves another star, for a total of trois.Aucun the comments I read mentioned the lack of a CD or DVD, I’m posting the review, although I actually do not use UL30A-X5, as it may be useful to others researching their choice in more detail than I No. For those looking for a netbook with the muscle, which could be an excellent choice. For those who want a notebook with optical drive, maybe look elsewhere. Rating: 3 / 5

When running Internet browsers (IE or Firefox or Chrome), if you have more than a few tabs open – CPU is always close to 100%. It is very annoying and slow – not managed to solve this problem. I remember reading a review on the internet that mentioned the same problem, but unfortunately I’m the new models (I) is to correct these obvious errors. Before the issue of awareness, return period of 30 days, is over and now I’m stuck with this $ 700 surf the Internet Super Slow ASUS machine.Rêves a fix for the problem. Rating: 1 / 5

I was so happy that this notebook. I read all the comments, which evaluated all the major attractions of this high-tech laptop. When I received the laptop I was so déçue.Clavier: cheap and makes too much noise. It was so flexible that I thought I was going to casser.Ecran: You will not be able to see what the screen from any angle. Way too much gloss, I do not see how it like fireworks in plastique.tapis Glidepad: Works on the touch-wheel worst I’ve ever used. You can not tell you when to slide a finger on the sidelines due to lack of texture. The gestures do not work to make them actually even worse, I had Prints désactiver.Finger: I was so happy, a laptop that was covered in aluminum. I thought that aluminum would be resistant to fingerprints than the MacBook. I was so bad. The exterior of the Asus is a magnet for fingerprints, the interior was filled with cheap shiny plastic. He disgustingly dirty after use of light. Cheap cheap cheap. Why not a manufacturer other than certain notebook products from Sony and Apple laptops, does not look like you had a bottle of grease on it after picking it. Where the hell did all of shiny plastic! If you absolutely a laptop with great battery (because you are not a single dose for 6 hours), I would stay far away. . . I miss my IBM ThinkPad T41. . . . (IBM, you can return the hardware market, please … Rating: 1 / 5

I have 5 laptops / netbooks of [. . . ] Bis [. . . ] And the Asus has been a disappointment. This is the 2nd Asus, I was back in the last 6 months and UL30a Ul50AG. The build quality seems good market, everyone is always told me, as are computer Asus, but I am not yet convinced of the quality of the construction.La battery life was great, but everything else was average at best. I know that the price level was the factor, and I can not compare this has on my Vaio TZ, but my Gateway Netbook LT3103 better quality and only [. . . ] ApparenceLe metal top is nice, but it is a fingerprint magnet, its worse than the cheap shiny plastic that they used inside. The frame around the screen is cheap plastic and scratches easily, it has a kind of specification in the blue color. The seams on the top of the screen is cheap and is beautiful with uneven edges rugueux.Le large hard drive, but it makes clicking noises from time to time. The screen is bright, but the display vertical and horizontal is terrible, the colors are washed out and is on some unnecessary mouse angles.tapis average, not one of the best features on the wireless UL30a.carte never broken connections, but the signal is low. My laptop is 5 years old better range than the Atheros card in UL30a.L camera is a joke, has photo.POUR my Blackberry a better camera: 8 to 100% self-Fi screen, leaves and loading multiple tabs firfox ouverts . Big HDD 500 Gotra portable guarantee easy, 1-year loss accidentelsWin 7CONS: Fingerprint magnet digitalesplastique cheap on the screen and rest on mainsLoud hard Durflex clavierbloatware ASUSAppareil photofabrication the qualitéSi you need a laptop with long battery life, which may be the laptop, I I still do with this screen size you get somewhere near you and buy ce.Si erpriannoyed fingnts seen cheap plastic to avoid this device. I wish they did this a little more guts solide.Les the computer will moyenne.Donc if you need a larger screen with a “little” more speed and a netbook autonomy, not parfait.Si you are disturbed by cheap parts and avoided. This laptop is decent, but after a while the laptop is the hard drive begins a cracking noise and then hangs the system. Given this laptop does not have a DVD player, I think that ASUS for a DVD backup of the system spring. Rating: 1 / 5
