Valentine Shapiro is no ordinary 18th She is half-Succubus and Vampire Slayer, even as Buffy, but fewer friends and incomplete. The day before his 18th Birthday of his mother and stepfather, just started out of the house, they not only shot him in the bookstore (which they own). They think that’s his little sister Jennifer on the can do what they possessed and then branded as a bad influence, so she ordered him to keep a distance for safety. Feel betrayed and hurt to go around it decided on his Honda Valkyrie, she met this cute dog is half dog, hell, I say a terrier, who is half dog hell. Funny. And know that they talk whatdya telephatically. What is his name capture, they were immediately after the catch in his friends little vampire underworld. In pursuit of employment, housing and money for everything else, she decided to call the police Detective Dan, and Jennifer found her that fateful night with the body of a dead vampire. Apparently, San Antonio a specialized unit dealing with the paranormal. The boss knows and she placed his nature. They agreed to remain as a secret that the framework should. One night, Val and Dan decided to call this new group is to review New Blood movement. They met with the leader Alejandro, who wants as he sees the peace between humans and vampires through the introduction of the blood bank, voluntary donation and / or compensation, either for fun or for money. They also met with ex-fiance Dan. Lily, now vamp. After its preliminary investigation into this organization, they look impressive, “intentions and norms” suggesting that they actually hold the man, not only equality but also need someone to take over and they respect, but after a meeting with Val, Dan aatacked and catching of three vampires. Who is the real enemy here? Is a movement against the New Blood? Quick, with a good dose of humor, without originality, yes, but it was still entertaining. I am always willing to check suite.Note: 5.2
This book could be good, but I think a high school student could have done a better job. The interaction between the characters is terrible, especially the dog, someone calling people baby in a “friendly” manner. It was just terrible in my eyes and I wouldnt recommend this book to everyone. Rating: 5.2
Although a little more intense than most novels of adolescence – at least for joy! No real sex but she let Succubus so there is some chaos around him enough emotional depth of love, sex and eroticism simple – it is amazingly well written. I had expected something mushy. . . Fast Twilightish. . . but I found a lot of fun to Val, the main character. She had a few kicks heel high capacity and a devil-dog sidekick is the best way to my heart. The character I actually received at least was the romantic hero Dan Sullivan. It seems one-dimensional and it just feels like it be for him as a hero mentality, but I’ve become quite fascinated by the published series and the relationship between the two on the new book “Try Me”, just buy the March 2010. He did not draw the Sookie Stackhouse series, but I find it much more attractive than the dithering helplessly Bella Swan in “Twilight.” On a sliding scale, Val has my vote for the Ass Kicking ability, emotion and depth of character that can actually hold a 30-something mom entertained and wanting more. I liked this book. I have never read a book from the perspective of the murderer, only from the perspective of a vampire, and it was a nice change. Val has a beautiful voice and I could feel his emotions and what the author has been described. The story continues with no dark room. It was always an exciting time, or something happens to a lot of action. Parker Blue has a great job writing his first novel and I look forward to the second book in the series. Rating: 5.4
