I did about half of the book, and there was little inspiration in the stories. If you can spend half the book written in Spanish, followed by a translation in English to take you to survive the jump in history. Perhaps the people with the Tarahumara and their culture would find the book useful, but not every runner, too. Rating: 5.1
Ok, I’m not a runner, and I hate any kind of shoes or socks, get stuck between my toes. But I love a good story. I am fascinated by the body mechanics. And read all types of travel literature, memoirs, sports and Popular Science. Actually, I wanted to love this book. But I could not stay with her. I read a little and had bas.J I kept waiting for the equivalent of the runner “Eat, Pray, Love”. But it was too disjointed. Too many “What I have during my summer vacation. I stopped pretty quickly interested. How to Repair Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance” I can not get what all the world be parle.Peut that I am not one of the Fan Club Vibram Five Fingers belong. Rating: 5.1
wonderful book by Christopher McDougall. I can not recommend enough. However, the publishing house Alfred A. Knopf disabled text-to-speech on the Kindle version of this book. In return they receive a one-star rating. Check it out at the library. Rating: 5.1
Recently, while promoting this book, Christopher McDougall, said the Tarahumara people of Mexico: * No * No crime cholesterol (unlike all other animals) * No War * No * No heart disease * Not clinically * depressed cancer and have been known can run to 435 miles in a single foisVous judge for yourself whether these allegations are credible. Personally, I think everything said or written McDougall must be taken with a grain of sel.De McDougall obvious only that the man did not evolve to run in sneakers. And I am personally very interested in the more natural style of operation, the promotion is. Just be aware that Christopher McDougall is exaggerating the truth to such an extent that “Born to Run” is mostly fiction. Rating: 5.2
Also, I was bored and made half-way. . . Skimming is. I read about 100 books of fiction, not a year that has done nothing for me. I do not understand the rave reviews. Rating: 5.1
