I bought this for my children started on an Omega-3 supplement and is a good idea, but it is probably the best option for you children, it does not taste good. It has an unpleasant taste of orange, certainly OK enough for an adult, and perhaps for some children, but for many young people, I think you have a battle. My daughter will take it, mixed in a yogurt-chocolate, but it is a really good sport. My son hates it in all combinations that I tried. It is very difficult to mask the taste of orange dominate.
