DescriptionCalifornia debut country legend Merle Haggard News Vanguard, I am what I am bristles all the qualities for which the arrest of this unique artist is very much appreciated. Each song is imbued with the power of Alchemy, run by her dazzling vocal performance, interpretation and control Haggard and the incomparable phrasing continues to the steps, impressive sensitivity, openness and authority. Never conventional, often provocative, always open to reveal the 72-year-old Haggard also remains committed to aggressively unspoken truths than ever before. From stunning opener “I’ve Seen It Go Away,” Haggard will start a wave of shock KO. A look surprisingly sharp contemporary cultural decay in America – the focus of politics, while the music is pop – it is proactive and pessimistic, but an unmistakable honesty that there is cynicism about the easy. When he sings “I` ve seen all collapse all / and I `ve seen our greatest leaders break their people .. More.”

Merle Haggard’s new CD in five years is a refreshing acoustic affair with a touch of pedal steel and pickin some electrical. I had to fight to get a copy of, but it was worth fighting for. Haggard is a clever stick with what has worked well. His band, The Strangers with him in his studio, California “Shade Tree Manor Studio. Reggie Young helps on guitar, Rob Ickes on dobro is. Every song is a written question to the Hag, with one exception. Some songs have a Swing / Jazz sense to them. The atmosphere of the whole album is informal. Haggard sounds here updated. Reggie Young Guitar nasal adds much to the composition. Many great guitar with Haggard. Haggard’s wife wrote to insert a play in the small very inspired by addition to a soft voice on the CD. “Live and Love Always” features a man and woman sing together, while negotiations Merle background. What makes an album a lot, especially great musicians. This is what we have here. Whether voice or high Haggard Ickes Dobro in the background is a great album. you can not find a better reception if it was SACD format. This document is available on CD or vinyl if you download your orders, you can probably do it that way. I love it simply “How you got me here?” Great blues song poll Haggard a great way to implement the hooks in his songs and as a producer, he knows to focus where, what it really sounds like it with fun. By the way Robin is a new label, which is his first album for the Vanguard label. As a result, it is a great discovery in the marketplace, a real icon, play music icon. He also. I love art, a simple picture of the witch with a hat . Ok, drum roll, my two favorite songs are the first song, “I’ve Seen It All Go Away” and the last song is the title song “I am what I am.” The work is a song about the experience of the Hag bright with life, a little politics, a topic of his experience, a great song. It really gets into it. Sometimes it sounds a bit like The Man in Black. Who could do better, but Merle Haggard. So, enjoy, it proved to wait the trouble! [...] Note: 5.4

There are two artists who were to take charge for fifty years, the approach that not only surpass their best shot approach, but in many cases. Merle Haggard and Bob Dylan humble me with their music and their ability to me scratch my head in admiration. “I am what I am,” I am reminded once again that great country music is art at its best. Merle-God bless you and keep you create real country music! Rating: 5.5

Just when I thought Robin began his age it will come with that. I’m a fan of his since the beginning and “I am what I am is” been there with his best work. He lived and probably has every song. There is so much feeling in every room. The musical accompaniment is almost equal to the song. They say that things get better with age, so that you ensure that the strengthening Merle statement. If you are a fan of Haggard or even your steps, you can not go wrong with it. Rating: 5.5

This CD is a terrible. Merle has always been open and honest, this is no exception. It has also been very kind to his wife and son. It is a true legacy of this great man that made Merle! Rating: 5.5

Too bad this was not released 40 years ago. It would have been a success. As it was published in 2010, when country radio no idea what country music has. All they know is crap cookie cutter spitting on Nashvegas.Keith Urban, Toby Keith, Kenny Chesny, none, etc., are worthy of holding hat Merle Haggard, but their shit is soulless Outsell’s honest and sincere Merle.Note: 5.5
