Album Description There is no harmony as the fraternal harmony. Something permanently in the weaving of voices and sensibilities of the game is made in the DNA of fraternal and is also a lifetime of shared experiences. One hears in the classic Brother Act of the musical spectrum, the Louvin Brothers, The Everly Brothers and the long decades of the brothers Wilson (Beach Boys), the brothers Davies (Kinks), the Allman Brothers, and even brothers Gibb (aka, the Bee Gees). You can clearly hear the fraternal magic at work in the songs of Scott and Seth Avett, better known as the Avett Brothers, as well. The magic is quite clear, and I love you, and you, the Avett Brothers’ major-label debut, produced by Rick Rubin. The 13 songs are in a style that could be delivered as a cut-compartmentalized but quaint blend of folk, country, bluegrass, rock and pop are called – even a stitch of dynamic punk style here and there. With and I love you and the Avet. . . More>>

OMG as if my brother is very into the music, as he himself recognized. LOL! He’s so cool, he has this little hub and It’s soooo cool! We have fully used part of 90th Anyway. He had this new CD, I know, I know these things are soooo cool, no one has em, but he does because he is like very original! It even has a flip phone with a small antenna. Anyway. This CD was sitting on the counter and I said: What is THE COVER! It is so serious. I mean, what is it? I mean, what kind of Gothic or something. Anyway. So he played and I thought, wow! That is so cool, it sounds like Bonnaroo or something, you know, hippies! And of course it was, whatever! Anyway, I would have liked, it’s really cute, and I played is when I go to sleep, as you know it, I mean, it’s almost all countries this is not cool. OMG there is this song, I swear, it looks like something my parents would, but anyway, I downloaded and put on my Facebook and my friends are like, NO WAY! The song is soo cool! So, now I can on my MySpace link, my friend Heather and I tweeted, it is like AWESOME! Anyway, I just like it, I do not know what it is, you know? LOL! OMG, I almost had forgotten! One of them is totally hot and I can not wait to see them in concert, I’ll die if I do not get to see them! OMG, he looks hotter than David Archuleta I can not wait to see! 1! 1 I hope they are as good as Dave Matthews LOL! Rating: 2 / 5
Where Avetis go? This CD has no energy and enthusiasm of their earlier versions. I found the CD very boring and stepper motors. The only thing that makes me think, is to sell outs. Rating: 1 / 5
Rick Ruben Must’ve ruined this album. The instrumentation is too pop-like. Where’s the energy? The songs appear to be timeless, and now they live in large bla. I do not listen to the radio for a reason. . . It’s terrible. I’ve been to 5 live shows, and they always have more energy than the albums, but if I have a show, and he came through the album I’m going out. Rick Ruben, please let us do the Avett Brothers! For me, this disc is the victim of too much hype. I was really disappointed in her, as some have said, as “catchy” whatever it was. I thought the only real catchy) is the first (the title track. Way too smooth for my taste, somehow, like the last CD by Roseanne Cash. Rating: 2 / 5
I was really looking forward to this since the hearing they were recorded with Rick Rubin. After a couple of new songs live, I was even more enthusiastic. Then I heard the recording. Where’s the banjo? Where’s Seth? Most of the album sounds more like Scott Avett and friends, not the Avett Brothers. Seth is a backup singer distance reduces many of the songs. Much of the size, the Avett Brothers Scott and Seth Avett’s wonderful harmonies. In most cases they are completely absent ici.Si an album Avett Brothers, and you should, you can buy all the others. Live, Vol. 2, Reseda, Four Thieves Gone: The Robbinsville Sessions, emotions, the heat, second slip (DIG), they are all much better than it is ci.C “the heart of The Avett Brothers,” which led them where they are. But unfortunately you will not have much of it here. Rating: 1 / 5
