I have read this book for school, and I was impressed by some of them. The tone is realistic and credible, and the characters were interesting. But the action was slow, this book 200 pages and the passive nature of the main character makes you want to scream. I do not recommend this book for free reading, but as a slave narrative meets it aims to tell the public about the horrors of slavery. I give it three stars. Rating: 3 / 5
Some say it is not true, after reading it seems that some fiction. Especially extensive quotes years after the events of someone who coulnt read or write, if the events had occurred, and no way to save them for later use. Rather slender. Keep looking out there may be a bit better on the subject. Rating: 2 / 5
