Comcast is very busy this fall, which is good to 8 December 2009 deadline to encrypt the existing non-local clear QAM signals over a cable. Unfortunately, this means that the number of channels (typically more than CH30) can offer this product to the users via QAM will be substantially shorter. For me it’s always something to some local HD (ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, Fox) is high on my LCD tunerless, but much less than they add a month ago was. I will keep the price drops come Kworld January 2010, if not earlier, when QAM tuners become obsolete almost overnight. . . what this evening – 7 December 2009. It was nice while it lasted. After connecting the camera, I could not release the audio component and audio I had when using the HDMI cable was a cracking annoying static sound. The picture on the HDMI hook was incredible. I’m back, because the unit of audio problem. Rating: 5.3

Let me first say that I finally decided to get rid of my cable TV subscription, after all these years. Pay more than $ 1,000 per year for cable just does not justify 500 channels (for a TV that costs $ 500!), That I hardly see it anyway! Comcast is the only cable company in my area, so I stuck with a $ 100 monthly subscription am. However, this tuner worth more than $ 100 I is paid. In addition, with a better antenna (for about $ 50) you can get the channels, even more than you need. I was able to scan 25 channels and I live upstairs in an apartment complex, busy Northern VA, I am now with this tuner for two days, and it works almost perfectly (very low dropout DVI-D to HDMI), so am I very, very satisfied with his performance. But I will say the sound through HDMI has all types of dropouts (I suspect that the HDMI cables, which caused this problem, I will probably buy a new and better cable try this later). I plugged in an external speaker via the analog audio to the place and I do not have the sound of the exit from which everything, then I am sure that this is not the reception. The video is nearly flawless! To be able to NBC, FOX, WETA Clock and WDCA HD more than justify the cost of this tuner! I recommend it. Rating: 5.4
