We used this machine to work for a year, then it is has been recalled by the factory — explosion. It was February 2009. It is now October 2009 and there has been no replacement. I received this as a gift and used it for 3 days, several times a day and the coffee tastes like plastic. I have seen a whole pack of beans if the taste is gone after each cleaning. This coffee machine is beautiful and we had a Senseo in the past, we have heart.
