I had this epic in a British literature to read to high school. I always thought it was a very boring epic, and I was shocked that they make a movie. Never waste my time with her I will not again be willing to try, even the movie! Rating: 5.1

This text is a translation of Beowulf Gummere. It is a bit forced, as he often tries to translate the poem in a long line of alliteration, give us a line like “because he waxed under the firmament, the wealth, prosperity, he said.” Strange and stilted, but I know he always has fans. Rating 5.2

This is * not * Seamus Heaney’s translation, but a translation of the public domain and can be downloaded for free from a variety of Web sites. I do not get how people with such blatant false advertising. Rating: 5.1
