Mr. Burke, I love all the books and look forward to each and every one of them, but a book like you did in the end, I feel robbed. It is as if I am doing in the last season of a TV show. If the book has four. 5 stars, but I just finished and I am completely disappointed with your end. Rating: 5.3

James Lee Burke THE GLASS Rainbow is an exercise in the history of development revised. The only thing that saves this is a good story for the lyrical prose of Burke. murdered women, degenerate upper class of their last drunk destroyed, the environment, a distraught woman (this time Robicheaux’s adopted daughter) and former partner tear ville. On might think that New Iberia, Louisiana were exhausted, the family was established during the days of adventure and continue harass the residents. Dave and Clete were destroyed many years maintenant.compétences Mr. Burke as a writer I have read yet and win fans, but the story needs a new matériel.Nash Black Indie finalists author in writing as a small business and Haint. I have in my critical reviews of the last two books from Amazon. I mean, the formula is intact and I have nothing against the formula, because that is why I read Dave Robicheaux novels. I do not like it, if not try to Burke. However, he has to try it. Writing is the best in years. In fact, it was deeper into the story in the comments Dave. I’ve always liked the conversations between the characters part. If you have always wanted some examples of implicit discourse. . . Burke’s your man Rating: 5.3

Maybe I read more of them (all, and in the correct order), but I felt that James’ mail to the latter. The plot development is not very strong and the stories seemed useless side-ie filling. Streak and I do not know as “immature bull-in-a-china shop” Cletus Purcell and their relationship is touching, but the story was vague and the best less than his work. A good contrast is PURPLE CANE Road, where Dave tells the story of his mother. I am ready now for a book by Billy Bob Holland, the other series. Rating: 5.2
