As I said, I have this book, and yes, it is also very good. Unfortunately I have not had much time to read it because I do follow the practice and the study had to go for tests. Anyway, it’s a good book and I recommend it to anyone. Written by Aaron Rating: 5.5
I was so excited when I found out that Riordan emerged with a book about Egyptian gods, I could not wait to start. I’m sorry to say that for me it left a big trick. Before I continue, I would I like the series Percy Jackson say, and I read many times. You are such an adventure amusante.L plot would have been interesting. Carter and Sadie are brother and sister grew up there. Carter has traveled the world with his father and Sadie stayed with his grandparents after her mother was killed. One night the father, Carter and Sadie are in a museum, and her father accient a little magic to call on the Egyptian god. It turns out that her father has disappeared, and the museum is in ruins. Carter and the father of Sadie rented five gods, not one. Soon Carter and Sadie are on the run, and they begin, the truth about what they learn, their origin, and what really happened to her I said mère.Comme, it seemed very interesting. This book has had some problems. The fist is the writing style Riordan for this series. It’s terrible. He wrote as if we understand what happened on the tape and not printed in a book. The characters talk among themselves on the “band” and it is hard to read. It is very disturbing. I did not know how Riordan has written the first person, chapter by chapter. Each chapter is Sadie and Carter tells the story from their perspective. It was hard to distinguish. It sounded the same. In the chapters, I struggled to tell who was telling the story. For me it is a general feeling of James Patterson roman.En speaking style, describe the characters, what happened to them during the book. In Chapter 11, he tells what has happened, their instruments. I have not seen the need for this purpose. We know what happened to them, because we read it. For me it was a waste of time. The characters: To be honest, I found Carter and Sadie to be interchangeable. None of them had their own characteristics. Two of them were stable and difficult to find and know how. I do not have one of them with charm and depth to see her. I did not know how they did something, and another asked: “How did you do that?” Then the other man said: “I do not know.” This is the kind of cop, when it comes to caractères.Je only Rirodan just want the Red Pyramid wrote as an ordinary novel, and not change the view from one character to another. When I “I said I wanted him because I like the Percy Jackson series to love, but Riordan has changed his style of writing, and spoiled the book for me. Rating: 5.1
What impressed me most about the series Percy Jackson was the way Mr. Riordan incorporated into a modern mythology and the characters are sympathetic and aware. I admit I was hesitant with this new series, Egyptian mythology is much more difficult because many supposition.Il it is very good, the Egyptian mythology, what he has with the Greek mythology. In some ways, is even better. Percy Jackson and his books were largely based in myth. The Egyptian pound is based on myth and archeology. There are a lot of information in this fantastic book, which also might encourage people to learn more and that is very well packed in an attractive story. Like his books, Percy Jackson, I think there are a number of my family enjoy reading and discussing. It is a thick book (516 pages), but my daughter is addicted, if I was ready. She was impressed enough with his earlier work ci.Carter really looking forward to it, are a young man in his early youth and her sister Sadie, the main characters in this book. It begins to slow, if not try the mystery to solve what with her parents and who they are. Carter is a man very self-critical young people who grew up with his father, the world teaching and study of Egyptology has traveled possessed. Sadie is her younger sister and she is impulsive, grew up with his grandparents in London stable in a beautiful house. It is a small rebel with red stripes in her hair, with the button of his brother by the shirt and pants contrast. Very nice view and sign back and forth between them, and not written at the same time the voice séparées.Je will write a summary of the story, I’m sure other reviewers. I liked this book a lot though, and easy-to-urban people, a good non-romantic fantasy is recommended to enjoy. Rating: 5.5
I do not intend to take in this book. I was not impressed by the Lightning Thief (although I do not agree with Read the rest of the series Percy Jackson – even though I own). But I ended up just picking the Red Pyramid and about 5 chapters was very lucky to have people say they do not fait.Certaines to enjoy this book as much as the series Percy Jackson. I can tell you right now, when it came to a fight between The Lightning Thief and the Red Pyramid, in my opinion, wins the Red Pyramid, hands down. I liked the story alternates between two children, Kane, Sadie and Carter. I loved the characters in support of the Bast, Horus and Isis. I liked this book Riordan to appear as if it were a story that just happened, and readers in the story were. All too often there is a big cliffhanger in the books that are waiting for the next seems unbearable. I appreciated the great dissolution of the Red Pyramid, and although it enough to want me to pick up was the second book, I could not throw my hands in frustration, laments the fact that n is the next book is not only to some criticism temps.La I really for the book is that it seems that Riordan threw a few action scenes, just so that a reader’s attention – the book could have disappeared with some of them, and a short story, because it really started something for the last to draw half of the book. Too many of the same old – after a fight and wonder how long it may take a few days perhaps! My only criticism is that if – and, overall, a fun book, Education in relation to the Egyptian gods, action-packed, good choice, made by children and a book that I will recommend my nieces and nephews to read. I must say when I have the series Percy Jackson read it, I immediately liked her. I enjoyed the whole pantheon of ancient Greek gods and goddesses, magic, etc. So, naturally, I turned to see “The Red Pyramid” when they had the same magic. I can happily say that he does and then some. I would even volunteer that I liked “Red Pyramid”, even more than the Percy Jackson pounds for several raisons.Tout first in “The Red Pyramid”, leads us to two main characters, both incredibly share in telling the story. Kane Carter, 14, is a young African-American, who with his father, Julius, has lived his whole life. . . for what a ugly custody battle between Julius and his ex-wife of the family (wife of Julius, mother, both Carter and Sadie Kane describes died when the children were very young). Sadie Kane, 12, sees the Caucasus (where according to their mothers) with fair skin, blue eyes and hair, she likes to put streaks of color throughout. Because of the custody agreement to Sadie lives in the year in London to see his grandparents – his brother and father of two times per year over the next sibling as far apart lead others. Julius is an archaeologist who travel around the world to study ancient Egyptian artifacts and Carter brings his son with him wherever he goes. Carter because of the teachings of his father, is a delicate situation, 14-year-old boy, a little hesitant and unsure. Sadie, on the other side, although two years younger than Carter, is a little bold, quick to speak her mind and very sure of themselves and their opinions. I must say, I loved both Carter and Sadie Kane. . . their differences and how they grow together as brothers and sisters! I can not see that much more than that without too much of the work. . . but I think you understand what I mean when you read “The Red Pyramid.” Another reason I liked this book because the depth of information for the reader. It is obvious that Riordan learned in his research on the possibilities of ancient Egypt and the complex nature of their belief system. . . . and he suspects that the information the reader a very exciting and divertissante.Magic and mythology come together in a fascinating way and fast in this book. Now the action begins, and you will be drawn into the book. Humor plays a big role in this book as well (especially Sadie), which adds to the fête.Dans Overall, I recommend “The Red Pyramid”. If you are a fan of the series Percy Jackson, I am sure you will like it. Or, maybe you’re like me and like even more!
