New album album DescriptionCorinne Bailey Rae, the sea was co-produced by Steve Bailey Rae Brown and Steve Chrisanthou, many of the songs on her debut album, which sold four million copies around the world. Bringing together a new band of musicians, Bailey Rae has the album primarily recorded in Leeds and Manchester, England. (3 & 1 / 2 stars) When I heard that Mrs Bailey Rae’s husband was dying, I selfishly fear that this would take several years, we get new music from him. That was disappointing because I liked his first album (although I never thought it was some kind of masterpiece of others) they appear as a reminder. Now that the sea is here, I enjoy it almost as much as its predecessor, the skin a pleasant listening experience, but not one that is easy for me. There are no songs about the sea as much as the two big air on his first single “Put Your Records On” and “Like A Star”, but a few in the area, namely “Les Nuits de Paris / New York in the morning “and” Closer “. Still, it’s easy to admire and appreciate how flexible and relaxed singing, the singer, although his voice reminds me of everything “too easy or too hard” beer commercial – not apparently at times his soft, relaxed style strong enough for what she sings. “Diving for Heart” on the new album is an example. In addition, some of the songs used slides seamlessly into the pond, without so much as a wave. (In other words, not all of his new material worth mentioning.) However, after listening to this new album twice through, something that is compatible with both cases, as it is a pleasure to hear his music. It is perhaps not the best thing since sliced bread, but the sea will you spend the day. Rating: 3 / 5

I know that the death of a loved one is usually a business card in your album for a sad and thoughtful. This album is solid proof that you really need to see a preview before you into an album and not solely on the opinion of other nations. My vision on this album is the transition from her husband when he paid a little bit, but musically, something interesting happened. For most of this album is well written too moderate fare such as “I’d do anything Again,” “The Blackest Lilly” and “a degree of diving for the heart.” N at the end of the album is reflected in the extreme. But as for the last song, there is another aspect of their sound that is displayed. Corinna is in your style rocks here, but the type of rock, it is provided a solid, very clished beat indie / alternative rock kind of guitar riffs and what has been done to death. Even if it does not coincide exactly with some of the expansive, densely chorded jazz-pop that under layers. Do not hit the style of rock, in particular, but it does not really very good for Corinne fragile, delicate style of singing. “Feels Like The First Time” is the best song on the album with its great slow-burning groove and funk, which sounds like an Amped the electric bass and / or keyboard bass of any kind, it was a feeling that for the most part this album is not for rhythmic riffs thrown investigated the simplistic and I good note: a rock / soul hybrid can while Mr. Rae has always felt that to go against the stereotypes and the idea of rock always assumed that she wanted to extend them. Ultimately, all of them. . . not to calculate them and, with Lenny Kravitz mines that an alternative “similar” style, which takes a lot of attention in order to conduct their own careers. I am sure that generate these test May a lot of bad press and reviews. Say something negative about alt / indie rock is always shining. And I love him, and often it is attractive. It is simply not there, especially with a focus on the theme of death. I suspect this album will be a wise purchase for some, but I encourage you all to know in whatyour before you buy because, like many things would not be your cup of tea. Rating: 3 / 5

The music on this CD puts me in a variety of different atmospheres. There is a strong second album, Corinne Bailey Rae. There are routes optimistic that “Paris in the morning in New York Nights” and “The Blackest Lily.” These songs make me happy and light. There are a few slower songs like “I’d Do It All Over Again” and “Are You There.” These songs are beautiful, but very sad. These songs are probably inspired by the death of her husband several years ago. The guitar playing on “Are You There” is very good. “Closer” is a groovy song on the album. The song makes me long for someone to be romantic. I love the beat of “Paper Dolls”. “This song puts a spring in my step. It looks very funky.” I’d Like To Call It is beauty, “a beautiful song. This song is very spiritual for me. I love this song.” The Sea “is a song of reflection. I thought I was on my mission in life. I like this music very much. Rating: 4 / 5

I wish I was writing reviews for Amazon as early as 2006. Then Corinne Bailey Rae has been given exceptional-titled album. This album would have certainly received the prestigious 5-star on the scale. It was new, fresh and had a sweet voice gliding over the entire album. His sound is more than India. Alicia Keys area. Homegrown His style was reminiscent of a young Joni Mitchell. Then tragedy struck with the death of her husband. I knew it long before you hear a new song again Corrine. But then she jumps back in the studio and one years later, working on his next album. The buzz was that this would be an emotional album. (The ever since his first album is perfect lacked a lot of emotion.) Corinne Bailey Rae is now back with “The Sea”. Corrine debut album was a sunny day, hand in hand, feet in the grass Barefoot type feeling. “La Mer” is therapeutic. You totally abanded style gum with the theme of rock songs like “Paper Dolls”. “The Blackest Lily” is another fast paced song that sounds like it should have Cyndi Lauper sang the hook. (And I think I hear Auto-Tune at the end.) The problem is that the voice of Corrine s’ is not made for this genre. It was not a voice of Erykah Badu, when they lost behind the pace. In addition to these setbacks couple of the album is very good. His poems have impressed me, “Closer I Do It All Again for Heart & Diving mid-tempo songs like” Feels Like The First Time & Paris Nights / New York Morning “have a good groove. There is a different mood with ballads They are depressing as all about “Love’s On The Way & I want to Call It Beauty.” And the title song is good, but it ends the album with a high clay triste.Qu “does not exist, how about Corinne Bailey Rae. It is soft, elegant and beautifully observed. It’s like a young Sade. His first album was his initiation into the world. Well, “The Sea” album is his statement. It is the kind of person who do not care if his album goes triple-platinum. Until the people to understand his message and see how she felt. For some people, writing is the best cure for heartache. It helps them all the grief. While not as good as his first album, Corinne Bailey Rae has shown that it is past the stage of mourning and began cicatriser.Rating: 4 / 5
