It is a wonderful album full of catchy hooks and quirky twists. Like a picture that will catch your attention more if you do not directly look at it, this album is more of an impression when you when you hear something else, in my experience. Highlights for me are “Years Crash” and “Valkyrie” in the Roller Disco, “songs that sound like old Guided by Voices nuggets shaped stones that have been added politely. For my money this is the best or second best album of the year 2010 so expected far, according to the Mumford & Sons album is like 2009 or 2010. Rating: 5.5
I enjoyed every album so far NP, has some of the songs on each, but together is their first album that I loved from beginning to end. The harmonies, the voices, the arrangement of the individual tracks, plus all perfect and I can not stop listening. Usually, their albums have grown me, it provides a transparent and I can not get enough.
