I read it when I was in Vietnam and declared it the best book I ever read. “I come with this version of Kindle. I have the biggest” ever “Ken Follett” Pillars of the Earth, “but I suspect he does not meet the criteria of criticism.” Pillars “is simply the best historical novel I’ve read. “War and Peace” is “epic” in most senses of the word.
